Vampire Facial Las Vegas

Luminae provides vampire facials in Las Vegas, an alternative to dermal fillers that tightens and plumps your face. A vampire facial, also known as a PRP facial, uses your own blood in a microneedling treatment session. Your platelet-rich plasma infuses with your skin which builds new collagen, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

At Luminae, Dr. Phong specializes in cosmetic treatments like vampire facials to not only enhance the beauty of your smile but your skin too. He is certified by both the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) and Allergan with experience providing the cosmetic results our clients desire.

If you don’t want invasive procedures like facelifts and haven’t had success with dermal fillers, vampire facials are a good alternative. To talk to Dr. Phong about your cosmetic goals and how a vampire facial in Las Vegas can help, contact Luminae today.

What is a Vampire Facial?

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. A vampire facial involves microneedling that infuses your skin with your own plasma. After drawing blood, we separate the plasma from your other blood cells and insert it into the syringe we use in the rest of your facial.

The platelets inside the plasma are responsible for the body’s healing processes. It’s what causes the formation of scabs. By injecting this plasma into your skin, it will cause collagen production. This results in the healing, tightening, and plumping of the skin.

Vampire Facial FAQ

The results usually last around 12-18 months. This means you should return for treatment after this period of time.

Yes, you can get a vampire facial on your neck. In addition to the face, you can also receive PRP on your hands to relieve wrinkles and loose skin.

Yes, the vampire facial is a great option for treating Rosacea. The healing ability of the platelet-rich plasma therapy works to treat skin problems and help prevent future redness, dryness, and overall sensitive skin.

Yes, you can get a vampire facial while pregnant. However, it’s advised to wait until after you have your baby to avoid any possibility of contracting infections or allergies, no matter how rare.

If you want to heal your skin from wrinkles, lines, scars, rough texture, uneven tone, or other skin problems, a vampire facial is likely worth it for you. However, vampire facials aren’t right for everyone, including those with bleeding disorders. Check with your doctor before scheduling a consultation with Dr. Phong at Luminae.

PRP and Microneedling Procedure

At Luminae, we begin your vampire facial by cleansing your skin and applying a numbing cream. This will ensure you don’t have any discomfort during the procedure. Dr. Phong will then draw a small amount of blood, typically from the arm.

Once the centrifuge separates the plasma from the other red blood cells, we add the plasma to the syringe. What follows is a typical microneedling procedure. A small device will prick the skin to make micro-wounds, infusing your plasma into the skin. Overall, this procedure takes around an hour to complete.

Recovery and Aftercare

Immediately following your treatment, do not wash your face. It’s important to let the PRP rest on your face for 12-24 hours. This allows your skin to continue the healing process and will help you achieve optimal results. You may also experience minimal swelling and tenderness. It’s also best to avoid applied heat such as blow-drying hair or sun exposure for the first day after your cosmetic treatment.

Other than the 24 hours of downtime where your face is covered with platelet-rich plasma, there is no lengthy recovery from a vampire facial. You can return to work and other normal activities the next day.

Results

The results from your vampire facial aren’t permanent. They last from a year to 18 months, at which point you’ll need another vampire facial to sustain your desired appearance. You can begin to see your results in the first 2-3 weeks as the collagen production continues to grow.

Combination Procedures

Vampire Facial and Botox

It’s common for our clients to combine a vampire facial with Botox. The two cosmetic treatments are safe to receive at the same time. In combination, a vampire facial and Botox are proven to resolve wrinkles, lines, and other signs of aging, in addition to the capabilities of PRP treatment to heal acne scars, skin texture, and skin tone. For more information about combining a vampire facial with Botox, schedule a consultation at Luminae today.
