Restylane® Silk

Restylane® Silk adds subtle lip augmentation. This product consists of a gel that is smaller and smoother compared to other Restylane® products, which allows for more precise augmentation to treat lip thinning, lost shape, and vertical lines around the lips.

Restylane® Cost in Las Vegas

The average cost of Restylane® in Las Vegas, is between $525-$2,575. However, there are factors that will ultimately affect your final cost. In particular, factors such as the provider, consultation fees, syringe costs, location, and type of procedure will contribute to your out-of-pocket cost. That said, it’s important to note that since Restylane® injections are cosmetic, they are not covered by insurance.

In most cases, the cost of your injection will depend upon the number of syringes needed to achieve your cosmetic desires. Restylane® syringes come in two sizes: 0.5cc and 1.0ml. The cost per syringe for these are $300 and $620, respectively. However, certain parts of the face will require different amounts of Restylane® to be effective. Restylane® FAQ

Does Restylane® migrate?

Yes, it is possible for Restylane® to migrate from the injection site even when injected properly. However, filler migration is a very uncommon side effect of the injections but can be caused by injecting too much filler, poor technique, your body’s immune system response to the injection, and agitating the affected area. Migration can be identified by a noticeable fullness in adjacent sections from the injection site, or in some cases as chemosis (eye irritation).

Is Restylane® permanent?

No, Restylane® is not permanent. Most cosmetic fillers, Restylane® included, are usually temporary solutions that don’t last more than 6 to 18 months. If more permanent results are your goal, you’ll need to schedule annual injections to maintain your appearance.

Does Restylane® stimulate collagen?

While it is not its intended purpose, some have experienced collagen stimulation from their Restylane® injection. Studies have shown that multiple injections of Restylane® have stimulated collagen growth nearby, which causes your body to begin to smooth out your wrinkles in that area naturally.

How long will Restylane® last?

Restylane® has a variable lifespan depending on the injection site and the type of Restylane® you receive. On average, a full Restylane® treatment can last up to 18 months.

What Does Restylane® Treat?

Restylane® treats moderate facial wrinkles, adds volume to parts of the face, and plumps the lips for enhanced beauty. Below are the common signs of aging Restylane® can treat.

Smile Lines

Smile lines, also called nasolabial folds, naturally happen as we age and result from repetitive facial movements. Restylane® Refyne reduces these lines while maintaining natural facial movements and overall natural beauty.

Thin Lips

While thin lips are sometimes a result of genetics, they can also be a sign of aging. As people age, collagen production tends to slow, which can cause your skin to lose elasticity. This causes the lips to look thinner and become less firm. Restylane® Silk creates youthful-looking results by increasing volume in the upper lip and smoothing out wrinkles.

Loss of Volume in Cheeks

Collagen, which provides elasticity and structure to the skin, tends to break down as we age. This contributes significantly to lost volume, most noticeably in the cheeks. To restore volume to the cheeks, Restylane® Lyft can be injected to add volume and create a smoother, more youthful-looking appearance.

Dark Circles

Dark circles under the eyes can form for a variety of reasons, including age, genetics, and overexposure from the sun, but Restylane® can correct this issue. Restylane® injections can add volume and smooth the area to reduce the appearance of dark circles.

Restylane® Procedure

For the best results and to minimize bruising, it is recommended to stop taking aspirin, vitamin E supplements, fish oil, and ibuprofen two weeks before your Restylane® treatment.

Typically, from start to finish, the procedure shouldn’t take more than half an hour to complete. The procedure begins with a local anesthetic if necessary; some of the Restylane® formulas contain the local anesthetic lidocaine to reduce discomfort from the injection. After a local anesthetic Dr. Phong will begin the injection. Depending on your procedure, you may get anywhere from 0.5 to 4 syringes of Restylane®.

Immediately after your injection, Dr. Phong will likely make you wait a few minutes to ensure there are no abnormal reactions before allowing you to leave. Light bleeding, bruising, and swelling are normal.

Recovery

There is generally no downtime associated with Restylane® injections; some people even schedule injections during their lunch break.

In most cases, Restylane® takes about two weeks to settle fully. For the best results, we recommend avoiding alcohol, tobacco, excess heat, and direct sunlight during your recovery. We will also provide you with aftercare instructions to ensure you have everything you need to obtain great results from your cosmetic procedure. Some instructions include medications, supplements, and skincare products to avoid, in addition to instructions on how to clean the area.

Results

Similar to other cosmetic fillers, your body will naturally metabolize Restylane® after about six months. The timeline for metabolization varies depending on the person, but if you want to maintain your results, you’ll want to schedule follow-up injections annually.
